Watch doesn’t work and very basic and unappealing compared to what’s advertised

Wowzzers!! The purple & gray color scheme is strikingly attractive. I admire how well the face's color seemlessly fades from one shade to the next. And the antics of the second hand are entertaining when have nothing else to do. I like how the seconds-hand temporarily disappears under a built-in archway, only to reappear on the other side, continuing on its mission.

Okay now THIS is my new favorite historic timepiece. What a gas! Little rings traversing around the dial like synchronized swimmers-- an even bigger hoot when viewed in the dark! A color-matched, glossy, metal ring sandwiched in the case serves up a subtle cue that builds on this watch's aesthetic appeal. The view windows into the movement's skeleton adds icing to the cake. I also love how the strap mates to the underside of the case, making it appear as if it grows out of it.
