Hard to get test results when owner is on vacation. Lab refuses to release info to me, only to test provider. This, it was a waste of time since I have to move and won't have access to the property to make further decisions. Also, needed clearer advice on where to test for residue. Light switches were clean. However, the shutters had visible smoke residue. And the fabric-like blinds would have been perfect. An inspector came over after 3 weeks of concerns and zero school attendance...the inspector knew right where to look. Also, I tried hard to get help from company before ordering express mail...so when I finally got feedback on which tests to order, 2 days had passed. And I should have sampled the debris in the oven, but such was dismissed. Now I know better.
