I have never, NEVER, worked on an outboard motor. I will tell you north of 1200 to 1400 dollars from a licensed shop I decided to do what I could to save money. I changed lower unit oil and water pump assembly, mechanical fuel, and electronic fuel pump. The pump was an exact match, and fit. It came with the regulator also. With a clean out of a water line of trash it's running like a champ. Thanks guys, yall are my go to for fuel pumps for my mercury 40 hp 4 stroke.
