I really love that this foundation is safe for acne-prone skin! My skin loves to break out to absolutely anything it can, and so far I don't seem to be getting new pimples from this makeup. A little definitely goes a long way, and you need to start off with small amounts and gradually build up or it will be too cakey. It does have more of a sheer coverage so I do need to layer over my acne/ acne scars. It is not transfer proof. If you have oily skin like me, you will need to blot with powder or tissues throughout the day but it does a pretty good job at lasting. For reference to shade matching, it is not a perfect match to my skin tone, but fairly close! I got the M2 color, and in Haus Labs foundation I would wear a 110 and in Bobbi Brown I would wear warm ivory...hope that helps with figuring out which shade would be right for you! I would give this a 4 stars just because I was a little disappointed with how easy it transfers onto masks, clothes, etc.
