Old World Map, 1570 - The First World Atlas - by Abraham Ortelius

I have given 5 stars because the quality of the map I ordered (according to my son, the recipient, I haven't actually seen it) is simply outstanding. It is every bit as good as promised, both from the website and with the ultra rapid response on queries prior to ordering. I do have a negative comment, however: As I said, the pre-order response time was frankly amazing, less than an hour in most cases. After ordering, the story was a little different. I felt that communication was sadly lacking. Worse than this is the fact that the website makes a great deal out of '3 day delivery'. My delivery was 15 days and I had to chase it multiple times. Now, 15 days is by no means poor for such a unique product. Indeed, if this had been made clear from the get-go I would have been delighted with that. But promising 3 days on the website and then seemingly being unconcerned with 15 days does leave a bad taste. In the UK we have a common business phrase - 'Under promise, Over deliver' - I feel your website needs an update, especially since it is still talking about Christmas delivery on February!

Map is excellent quality, print is very well done. FYI dimensions listed include the 3” of blank material at the edge of the picture, so order 6” larger than what you want. Wish I had known before.
