Old Timer 'Scorcher' Stratocaster sized humbucker

Fantastic

I was also dubious, given the price, and the fact that it was going into a £1200 guitar as a bit of a trial. Exceeded all expectations really, pretty much the sound I was after, not quite as full as a full sized humbucker thankfully, and not as middly as some ceramics. Needless to say, I won't be buying the SD Hot Rails now, this is staying. Can't recommend highly enough.

Transformed a budget guitar

I was dubious at first, because of the low price, but this is a fantastic pickup for the price. I've put it in a Stagg Strat copy and, along with a thorough clean and new wiring, this pickup has transformed a £30 charity shop find into a really good mid range guitar. Will definitely use the 'Old Timer' brand again.
