Strawberry Thief Crimson

Very nice watch; some fulfillment glitches

This review would be for the 30mm strawberry thief with a crimson dial and band… except we received the 30mm strawberry thief in the indigo iteration instead of the crimson version we expected. Regardless, it’s still a very attractive watch and my wife — who can’t be bothered with handwound mechanical watches and is strictly quartz — is thrilled with the dial design. The ‘perlon’ band is very stiff, as others have observed. Since it has quick release pins, I’ll likely find and fit a more pliant, soft leather or ‘vegan leather’ band in deep blue in my drawer full of watch straps to improve wearability. For the very modest cost, it’s a distinctive piece; and I assume the simple miyota quartz movement will last a long time. A worthwhile purchase; even better knowing it helps to support a good cause.

Great customer service

I bought a watch recently but the strap did not hold up and was looking dull and old. I reached out to the customer service who were proactive and quick to resolve the matter by sending me another strap. Great customer service!!

The face and movements are absolutely gorgeous. However, the perlon strap is white tough and rigid, which requires some maneuvering to position it correctly. I hope that with time and wear, the strap will be more malleable and comfortable to wear.
