I had a shave brush that came in a package deal. I used it for years when I'd use shave soap. It did the job, but it was small. Comparing my previous brush to the Viking Badger Brush is like comparing a Vespa scooter to a Corvette! The badger brush holds more lather, spreads evenly, and looks like it's made to last. Glad I found Viking and bought this. Great product!
