Good sturdy bow tube

I was looking for something simple but also slim fitting. I had been using a poster tube but it was wider than this bow tube. Others suggested PVC pipe and that was just overkill in my opinion for weight and dimensions. This tube fits two bows fairly snugly, though this item didn't include anything to separate the bows from hitting each other or protect the bows from bumping against the walls.

Just returned from my first air travel with the Bam overhead violin case and bow tube. To my great relief, there was no question at airline check-in about checking the tube and taking the overhead case into the cabin with me. I couldn't be more relieved. Before and after the flight, the straps held the bow onto the violin case well, and together they were light and secure on my back.

Great solution to bow eating bugs

The tube is nice, very airtight. Highly doubtful I'm getting more bow eating bugs on my bow again
