No.59 | Leather Trucker Long Wallet (Digital Pattern)

I needed a last minute Xmas gift to make for my oldest son after the original gift was no longer relevant for personal reasons. My son is an OTR truck driver and I didn't want to fall back to a cliché of a long wallet without some style. The Trucker Wallet #59 fit the need. The pattern was easy to discern, and the video tutorial was easy to follow. I was able to complete this in about 15 hours given the distractions of my grandchildren. Your mileage will depend on your skill set and personal focus. My son opened his gift today and he loves it! I'm unable to speak to any of the vendor's help as it wasn't needed, but their follow up email was friendly and wanted to be sure I was happy with the purchase and if I experienced any issues. This is what I have come to expect from fellow crafters and Stock & Barrel delivered. I will buy from them again.

Great pattern!

I modified the pattern a little, but it gave me a great place to start. This is the first time for me to add a zipper to a project and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Hand sewing adds a lot of time, but I figure I pay my dues before I move up. I have purchased a few of Stock and Barrel patterns and have my eye on a few more. Thanks, Gary
