Broke the section below the tip on a roll cast after about 10 regular casts. Not the start to a 5 star review I know! Having built rods for another company though, I realize there are going to be some imperfections in materials and final product. The 5 stars are for excellent customer service. I talked to the company, was given easy instructions on what to do, paid a small shipping fee and my replacement part was quickly on it's way. When part arrived it was a new tip section, not the one I needed. I contacted Maxxon again and explained what had happened. After apologizing for the mix up I was assured the correct section would be sent out immediately, which it was. There was no cost to me and I was told to keep the extra tip. Maxxon proved they take care of their customers and stand behind their products.
