I think Edmund Pevensie would have found the scent of this candle just as alluring as the White Witch's Turkish Delight. This really smells like actual loukoumi, made fresh and put on display at a Turkish sweet shop. Given that Turkish Delight is made with rosewater, I was not surprised by its inclusion, but adding lemon to the mix was a good idea: it kept the candle from smelling too perfume-y. That and the powdered sugar notes gave it the right amount of sweetness.
In hindsight, I'm glad I had bought two of these Turkish Delight candles. Mythologie has succeeded in putting me under their enchantment~.

Turkish Delight is an old favorite I fell in love with upon the initial release of the Always Winter Never Christmas collection, and I'm thrilled to have it in my collection again. It smells exactly like you'd expect from the description and also better than you can imagine. I love it for winter time after Christmas, when the dark and cold can feel a little heavier with the festivities passed. The scent is sweet, light and refreshing yet grounded and distinctly wintery to me, brightening my mind and lifting my spirit through dark winter days.
