Very delicate, but holds up well against water exposure. I swim in chlorinated pools, lakes, and the ocean - haven't seen any tarnish on it! So detailed, such a gorgeous piece of marian jewlery. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quality necklace to honor our Lady!
