Works good but too close to dash

Unit is great, but fit to the dash is too close on the explorer. Can’t angle the phone much without it contacting the dashboard stopping the adjustment towards you to see the screen or if there’s glare from the sun. It would only be worse with a bigger phone such as a iPhone max just fyi. I have the same mount in other vehicles of mine and not the same issue.

Best Phone holder I have ever had. Works great!!! I did have to get a Ford technician to help me install it in my 2019 Explorer but that was a minor hassle. Thx

Ford Explorer magnet mount

This mount is excellent. You have the option of left side or right side of the sync screen. I wanted the left side closest to the driver. Only problem is the windshield wiper arm on the steering column gets in the way. Wish they made an offset attachment to move it slightly higher or to the right slightly to clear the wiper control arm. Please let me know if that might be in the works? Overall best phone mount hands down. Great customer service. Thank you.
