This has been one of the underrated insurance policy I've put on my bike. I don't think about it often, because the NSB derailleur hanger is bullet proof. When I do then about it, I appreciate the design, craftsmanship, and experience that brought it to life. I appreciate it most when I see people having unfortunate ride-ending experiences with the OEM gear, usually from mild crashes. This piece will withstand hard hits, this giving the opportunity to straighten the derailleur and get back to riding. It's also very easy to disassemble for thoroughly servicing the derailleur. Solid little hanger!

This is so much better than the flimsy factory hangers that come with bikes now. Should have got a spare but would probably never need it.
