Not the best
The open and close function worked properly. The item would not consistently charge the phone. It continuously beeped and turned on and off. I had to pay to send the item back (deducted from my refund). I requested to have a different style (magnetic) charger sent as I have already taken my dash apart and installed the mounting device but have not heard back from the company. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon with a new product that works. If not, I will purchase from Pro Clip, which I am currently using on another vehicle (works perfectly).

Very Disappointed
Ordered induction holder/charger for 2013 VW Tiguan after filtering on car make/model. Product came without mounting bracket and ball (I missed comment at very bottom saying these are NOT included). Seems misleading to have customers filter on make/model to select an item that only contains a unit that is make/model independent. The mounting hardware is the make/model dependent items. I reached out to support team and was told bracket/ball are not sold separately, which turns out is NOT the message (yes - the one I missed) at bottom of charging unit. I was directed to order the $50 Direct Fit magnetic holder to get the mounting hardware. Which brings up - why does the mounting hardware come with one holder and not another? Not a good marketing approach for encouraging return customers when we have to order two holders at $115 just to get a simple metal bracket and 17mm ball. Found 17mm ball on internet for fraction of cost (which Course does sell for $25). I will quickly fab a simple bracket on my workbench. Course Motorsports, don't be a penny wise and a pound foolish. Include the hardware or provide an option up front to add it to the purchase at a reasonable cost. Thanks for asking for feedback.

Best Phone Mount for 2010 F-150
I've done a lot of research on phone mounts for my F-150. I had my doubts on this one, BUT I got creative and used the 17mm aluminum ball mount and attached it to the coin holder that is NEVER used. The aluminum ball comes with a 3/4" length, but I replaced that with a 1" 10-32 screw from Lowes. I had to drill a small hole through the coin mount and ran the 1" screw through it and attached it to the mount. Once tightened, I snapped the coin holder back into position and BAM! it works better than I had hoped for. I love the way the holder grips my phone. It's easy on and easy off. What I like most, it looks like a mount from the factory, at least I think so.
