Boots had been worn and damaged.

The boots I received had already been worn. It appeared that the cobbler attempted to repair the boots but they were in such disrepair that they should have just been thrown away.

I really like them, they are comfortable. I wish the sole was a little more comfortable but that can be fixed at my own will. Very happy with how they look. They smell even better! (I love the smell of real leather) I'm glad I went a half size up since they are a j toe. I feel like I'm a whole food taller and they hug my calves very well but not too tight. Can't wait for my formal event to wear them!
