Marvelous Marigold
Marigold Yellow is a true workhorse in my studio. It is a mellow, softer yellow that has a slight orange bias.
I don't often use it by it'self but I do use it often as an under layer when flameworking to enliven another hue.
It is not agressively dominent but supports and gently modifies a top layer.
I love it under Medium Amber, Light Turquoise, Light Aqua, Emerald, Leaf Green, and any Coral or Light Pink.
In a flame it will become semi opaque in whispy streaks if it is worked hot ...... so be gentle to keep it clear.
