I tired of the chrome on my BMW M6 wheels so I decided to try Dip Your Wheels. I went with the Anthracite Gray ( which was darker than anticipated btw. It is true to the cap color but darker than the wheel example shown). The product is really easy to use. I did purchase the spray handle which made things easier, but as long as you use a steady spray pattern it should be fine. I pulled my wheels and masked them, standing them upright at about 60 degrees on a plank across two workstands so i could roll them as I sprayed. I started on the inner edges first, working outward to the face surfaces which minimized any overspray texture issues. I will add that the viscosity of the spray helps cover up small road rash abrasions. The wheels finished out nicely with no runs or blemishes and I'm quite happy with the overall result. See the attached photos. Based on the experience, I plan on trying the Factory Silver and perhaps Brass Monkey as well at some point.
