Functional but needs some improvement

I bought two pairs of suspenders. The package arrived very fast and the boxes were really nice. The good: decent colour selection for the straps, good quality of manufacturing. The hardware is white/silver, which basically sealed the deal, as the competing brands only offered yellow/gold with brown leather, and I don’t wear yellow metal anywhere else. The bad: no option of sewn-up button-only attachement. The multifunctional clip/button ones look amateurish with those hole-and-pin fastenings and I hate to make more waste, but having no use for the included clips, I just threw them away. The leather colour options should also be expanded to include different shades of brown - light brown currently available may not suit darker brown shoes that are very common. The leather is quite stiff and is a bit on the thick side for what it needs. The stitching is a little too wide. Overall, a little more refinement in this area would do a lot of good. The back strap is a bit too long - having the Y-piece sit too high up narrows the span of the shoulder straps and does not allow for as much comfort as a lower position would provide. Overall, these are good for the price but a few simple improvements above would really set them apart and eliminate competition. I would be willing to pay extra $10-$20 for that.
