Needed something to roughen up the tone of a very clean YGL-3. This fit the bill with a surprisingly thick but under control tone.

This pedal is perfect for any gain staging. Running it with an eq pedal can take you from soft smooth overdrive to metal. Replaced all my other distortion and overdrive pedals with just this one

SMK Distortion

I have owned many distortion pedals and tube amps over my 35 years of playing. I plugged this SMK in, and was expecting a "pedal" sound. I currently run a Rocker Terror into a 212. Tight knob turned down,this pedal nails the Rocker Terror sound perfectly. Tight knob turned to 3 o'clock and it hits gorgeous JCM 800 tones. The best sound out of any pedal that I have tried. Very glad that I found out about these guys!
