Very happy with the quality. Already saved my exhaust and engine pan quite a few time. And my bike look even cooler now !

Looks good & protects well!

Quality made product. Not difficult to install. There are a bunch of exposed parts on a stock x300 begging to get damaged even if you only mildly off road it. This skid plate covers all those vulnerable areas and looks the business doing it! I trimmed the bottoms of the stock plastic "guards " and reinstalled them after l installed the Ricochet skid plate and lt looks great that way. Thanks for a great product and it arrived quickly.

Best looking, most functional skid plate

When I first grabbed it out of the box, I thought this is beefy. Further inspection revealed some beautiful welds and a much more quality piece than I was expecting. (A couple of forums for my Versys-X 300 quibbled about thickness and overall production quality.) The installation was simple to the point of being so obvious that the directions were not used. I did reinstall the factory plastics for a cleaner look. Only needed to trim a wee crescent around the front mounting rubber puck on the right side. I also have the Givi engine guards so I needed to supply my own longer engine mounting bolt. For future customers, supplying the appropriate length bolt, if they are running with Givi, would be very helpful. I also have the SW-Motech center stand and there is no interference. Some people say there is increased engine vibrations when installed. I did not notice an increase, probably cause the bike transfers all vibrations too well. Not much dampening on this rig. My only negative would be that it is much easier to remove the skid plate for oil changes than try to clean up when your oil filter drips and the draining oil defies physics and flows wherever. Overall I am very happy and confident in the quality and protection offered from this Skid plate.
