Love + Eyebright Eye Serum

Not for daytime or contact lense wearers

I love the E balm for night and was looking for an eye serum for daytime under makeup. This IS NOT IT. Unfortunately it works its way into your eye and definitely is not an option if you wear contacts or makeup. But if you are looking for a second option for your bedtime routine it would work.

Reduces Dark Under Eye Circles- Slight Irritation if it gets in eye

I'm glad I bought Love & Eyebright as part of the promo set OL had available for purchase during the semi annual sale. It really did reduce my under eye puffiness and noticeably lighten my dark under eye circles. I'm pale and thin skinned so my under eyes usually look like I've been in a fight (or I'm a vampire and/or a goth). The under-eye circles are still there but so much less noticeable now. I waffled buying this because have severely sensitive eyes and skin due to MCAS and other genetic allergy conditions, so I normally can't put anything but pure oil near my eyes. Eyebright has never caused any burning, dryness, peeling or any irritation of my actual skin, but it does moderately irritate the rims of my eyelids if I put it too close or use to much and it seeps into my eyes. I now apply the product extra far away from my eyes and use only a thin film or a few dots of product. The consistency is thin and can run down your cheeks or into your eyes easily. This runniness is improver when mixed with the warmed up Vit E eye balm, it really makes your eye area feel soft and supple. I recommend warming it up in two fingers as instructed by OL, applying it over the Eyebright, and then using a facial roller or gua sha or other tool to gently press it deeper into the skin. The Vit E balm must be pre warmed as it is thick. I get dry around my irritable eyes, so I like the thickness. Overall this product was a pleasant surprise, I will now continue to buy and recco to others.
