Lost opportunity for booth customer and business and early degradation

I already had a UAG case but the flap that’s usable as a stand broke off so I wanted to get a replacement. Sadly it wasn’t in stock but with a bit of back and forth with customer service I ended up buying the same case but in a different material since it was in stock. Customer service was really helpful but I do think they could have come up with that solution themselves to be honest. The material probably doesn’t matter as much to people as just getting a good and functional case. Besides from a business standpoint it’s a big lost of money to not offer alternatives if the customer desired items isn’t available. Additionally the case started deteriorating on the very first day I got it. I don’t remember if I had the same problem as quickly last time but the material on the inside of the flap has started to fall off on near the place where you insert your credit cards and what not. I knew it would happen eventually considering how my old case looked but I was quite disappointed that it began already at the very first day.
