GAN11 M Pro 3x3

my humble opinion

for a midrange gan cube, this isnt bad. been using this cube for about a week now so i would say its well broken in. coming from a tornado cube, this cube definitely has a blocky feel to it (i personally don't like) which leads to me locking up pretty often. if you have a few more in the bank id highly suggest just buying a gan 12.

Kind of disappointed

I was very disappointed with my GAN11 M Pro cube. Especially after reading all of the previous great reviews. First off, it does not come with the Hex magnets and triangle magnets like stated in every setup video that I've ever seen. Only 2 sets of triangle magnets with very slightly different shades of caps. Honestly, I really can't tell the difference as with most of the adjustments that I've tried to make. The 2nd thing is that no matter what adjustments that I make, the cube still pretty much feels the same to me. It doesn't stop where I want it to, constantly locks up, even on slow solves. I really just don't like it. I keep trying but I honestly have at least 4 other cubes that I grab first even for casual slow solves. I keep forcing myself to "keep trying it because it's a GAN". If it was a sub $20 dollar cube then I would just chalk it up to a bad decision and live and learn, but this is not a budget cube so I am very disappointed. Especially for the money that I paid. In all fairness, I'm only a sub-40 solver so maybe I'm just not used to a "fast" cube. It doesn't feel that way though. I am consistently 5-10 seconds worse when I use this cube. I spent the extra money hoping for the opposite. I'm not going to say that I will never buy another GAN cube, I know that they seem to be the standard, but I would really need some convincing at this point.
