Very practical QOL improvement

One thing that doesn't get mentioned in Highwood's writeup is that these saddles are a bit shorter than syandard (in terms of bridge to saddle, or in the string direction). This means that if your bridge is a little close to the nut to intonate well with the stock saddles, you can still intonate your guitar without cutting the springs. That's why I bought these and my guitar is finally intonated properly. Other features - personally never had a big problem playing around the height adjustment screws but it seems like an improvement with no downside, for anyone who had this problem. The groove in the middle of the saddle is alsovery much appreciated, the strings will never slip sideways while bending now. The sound? A little different from stock, less treble played acoustically. The plugged in sound didn't change a huge amount. TL;DR: these saddles are a very practical upgrade over stock. Would buy again. Tonewise it may be a sidegrade.
