Non-Series ACR Stem

Cool System

ACR is a nice design for hiding the cables. This stem is well-made, stiff and nice-looking. It has a quill stem vibe. The only gripe I have is there’s no way to use spacers above it so the steerer has to be cut to length. It’s not a huge deal but I like to keep a little chimney for good measure. It comes with plenty of spacers to go under the stem. If you’re concerned about the end of the steerer getting squeezed in the clamp, don’t. The bolt edge of the clamp dips below the top of the steerer and it looks fine in that regard. I got it with the appropriate headset to go on a cheap eBay Chinese gravel frame and it fits like a dream. The frame, however, gets its own separate review.

FSA ACR stem

This stem meets my expectations perfectly! It presents a clean look by routing the cables through the headtube, stem and handlebars. I love it!
