Skim board
Picked up the board at the warehouse but the tool/key to install the fins was not in the packaging. Was sent a tool by mail but did not receive it due to postal strike I was able to get a small alan key to attach the fins. It was a hassle so they need to improve shipping packaging procedures. The board is solid for how light it is we used it during one outing so far with 160 and 190 lbs riders and it held up well. Only installed one centre fin so it was very maneuverable / responsive / slippery, what we expected and wanted for a skim wakesurf board. Everyone noticed and liked the special design with the wood veneer and found the traction pad had good grip. We would recommend the board for those looking for a new sensation compared to a regular wakesurf board and for doing new tricks behind the boat. We just hope it holds up to all the use it will get. Happy to buy from a Canadian company.

It’s ok
First the shipping was a bit of a mess but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a one off mistake. Secondly, the board is very aesthetically pleasing. However out of the box it is a little messy, the foam has pieces hanging off of it and the case for the find looks like it was made of scrap material. The fins are held in by screws which worries me since water tends to make things rust and weaken over time. Also putting the fins in was about a 30 minute job since the screws were so hard to twist, it felt like they were going to crack the board with how much force you had to put into them. Lastly the board seems as if it’s hollow so one little crack or lead and the board is done for.
