Authority Laptop Backpack Deluxe

Great backback. Good structure. Protects my laptop very well. Comfortable to wear. My only complaint is the internal space could be a little bigger. My laptop fit well in the laptop compartment, but the main compartment does not extend or stretch out from the back very much at all. Any items that end up in that compartment end up in arranged in a stacked manner (due to the tall and narrow shape), and because the fabric has no give, you must remove anything from the top to reach something at the bottom - there is no sticking your hand in to grab something. Even my very standard size 590mL water bottle doesn't fit in the water bottle holder. Luckily I own a mini (300mL) that was narrow enough to fit. It seems almost like the design of the bag is quite overkill for something that can hold so little. I was able to make do with the bag for my airplane carry-on needs (laptop, charger, small electronics, toiletries, a couple small spare clothing items), but I had to carry my sweater on the side and overstuff my purse a little, so it was with some difficulty. That being said it was comfortable to wear and I have never felt so little anxiety about my laptop getting banged around in the plane's overhead compartment. I bought the backpack as a result of a recommendation to check out Timbuktu and I will certainly tell others the same.

I've been a fan of the Authority Deluxe ever since I first saw it. Now a proud owner, I can honestly say it lives up to the hype. It's one of the best practical EDCs I've come across, combining everyday functionality with a timeless design.
