★★★★☆ Great quality backpack and a solid update to the original Spire. The improved water bottle pocket and side zipper for expanding access to the main compartment are both welcome upgrades. I do miss the small zippered pocket that used to be inside the top of the main compartment; its new location on the back is less convenient, especially when carrying a bike U-lock using the rear straps. I also preferred the metal hook-style closure on the previous version over the new plastic clip and strap. Overall, though, it’s a well-made, functional backpack and I’m very happy with it so far.

Excellent bag for commuting with a laptop, especially on wet days. Sections of the bag make sense to me as a user, and it also looks more professional than my old backpack which I appreciate. Highly recommend this bag!
