This is a replacement module. The first one was damaged after 3 years of service. It was easy to install and connect to the Wifi. One challenge - I was required to create a new profile to properly connect. There were no instructions how to remove the old profile.

The WIFI module is definitely a must have for our setup. In our case it allows to remotely monitor and operate the doors and temperature eliminating any guesswork and unnecessary trips to the coop.

The door is well built, arrived quickly and was easy to install. Having the door open and close automatically makes life so much easier and the chickens much happier not having to wait for us to let them out! It also keeps us from having to go out in inclement weather. We decided to get the wifi module after some of our hens occasionally weren’t going in when they should. I’m not technologically inclined so I called customer service and Jim talked me through the installation and he has been very helpful with any of our questions. Our coop is amongst the trees and has a roof over about 20’ of their run making it very shady. The door would sometimes close before all of the girls were in so I decided to change it from “dusk to dawn” to “schedule” to make sure it is really dark when it closes. Problem solved! The coop is about 75' from our house and with a high intensity flashlight we can check to make sure all of the girls are safely tucked in bed from the comfort of our house before we go to bed each night. It gives us peace of mind to have “safe happy hens”. Thank you Coop Tender and Jim!
