Very strong and odd masculine scent

If anyone remembers the plastic figures that were coated with some kind of fake velvet material and there were air fresheners that smelled the same from the late '70s. That is what this smelled like to me. Not sure what I'm picking up but didn't like. Want to try some other Oriental spice fragrances to see if it's common. In the smallest sample possible because I gave this away.

Spicy and rich

Warm leather tones, very peppery, but with just enough floral notes to give it real dimension. I’m not opposed to wearing masculine scents and often do wear leathery scents, but I would prefer this one on my husband instead of me, if that makes sense. If you are a guy buying, it’s a scent that encourages a good snuggle.
