Man this thing is beautiful, I don't care where it's assembled, the materials the craftsmanship, the weight, the balance, the feel in the hand perfection, I'll be ordering more of these as I can, wish I could've sprung for the pairing knife too as I am a head cook ill be using mine at work and home, so I got the gladiator paring knife can't wait for that to get here too, if the quality is anything like this then awesome. Definitely happy with this, I like pretty things and when they function this well BONUS
