First Ver Ka

I went with this kit sitting on my shelf for awhile while sharpening my skills to attempt it. I wanted to make sure I could paint, scribe, panel line, and clean up before I attempted it. The build experience was great. The kit wasn't complicated or a pain to work with. The nubs and cleanup was easy and a lot of the lines were crisp that just some simple deepening made them pop more. The only downside for me was the water slides that came with the kit. They aren't the best. They work well enough, but I preferred a 3rd party over the stock ones. I also love that the kit came with a base so I didn't need to worry about sourcing one.

Packaging was immaculate. I’ve wanted one of these since I was a kid. I’m in my mid-30s now. Thanks for helping fulfill a lifelong dream. “Mission accepted.”
