Birthday Gift card from Brother

My slightly older brother has found SAS shoes to be high in value for his walking comfort and he suggested I try his on. We wear the same fairly large size and they felt cozy in the minute I had one on. To my surprise as my birthday approached, he and his bride sent me a pretty large gift card. I shopped online and thought the prices were high, I measured my foot outline, I ordered a style and color I thought would wear regularly, and when my shoes arrived a week later, I could not wait to unpack them. They are very simply a perfect fit and felt comfortable from the start. After wearing a couple of hours with walking and standing, the shoes still felt good. We had some inclement weather and I didn't wear them out; actually stayed in mostly. Today was the third wearing and lasted about 7 hours, and upon returning home, they must have still felt good since I wore them another hour inside before changing into my house slippers. Seems that no breaking in has been needed; they look great and feel great. I will continue to test them at every opportunity.

I love how the shoes fit and feel. I have worn the shoes every day since I received them. I wore the shoes on a recent trip, and they did well on airplanes, in airports, and on various terrains.

Not their best

Ordered narrow, but they seem much wider than previous shoes I've purchased from SAS. Also, lacing up the shoes is a bit difficult. The top loops don't slide well at all.
