Excellent experience
Delivery was terrific, I ordered in the morning and it was despatched the same day. Really good stencils to work with and are very easy to clean up. I bought a pack of stencil brushes too which are good quality at a reasonable price but for this particular project I found a sponge worked better. It’s still a work in progress as it’s quite large but the stencil is holding up really well despite endless washes. Have my eye on another one when I’ve finished this. What I have done so far looks lovely.

Meknes Moroccan pattern stencil
This was my first time stencilling a large pattern on a wall, I used 4 different colours and sponge rollers. The stencil itself arrived quickly and was well packaged. Using the stencil was not a problem, I just had to figure out how close to the edge to start so that it would be centered on the wall. The only tricky thing I found was aligning the stencil after doing the first one. The stencil has the pattern line to make it easier, but sometimes it wasn’t perfectly aligned (I think I should have used stencil adhesive rather than low tack tape... that would probably have solved that issue). The other thing I found was that as the paint would build up on the stencil, the stencil was no longer as perfect as when I started. I kept using wipes to remove the excess paint on the front and back, but it’s not easy to remove. I think this was because I used sponge rollers from which I removed as much paint as possible, but still there was more paint than you would get with a stencil brush which is what is recommended. It still worked though!
The end result is two feature walls in two separate rooms which I am rather pleased with. I would definitely recommend this stencil.
