these gingher featherweight snips are my absolute favorite scissors for embroidery.

the blades are incredibly sharp and pointy, which makes it easy to make precise snips. the cap is tight-fitting and very secure. you can throw them in your bag without worrying that the tips will poke though, and it's fitted with a loop for hanging.
