The Hunt for the Timbermancer PDF: a Short 5e D&D Adventure by Aabria Iyengar

I used this story to bring a few new characters into my campaign. The narrative, the included NPCs and BBEG(s) fit perfectly! Very well-written and compelling!

Though written with love, the Hunt for the Tindermancer is very linear full of railroading. It isn't fleshed out like most published products. It has no maps or pictures of any kind, and the stat blocks are not complete. They don't include important information like say what the enemy's saving throws are. The implication might be that the GM just fudges things to make the game go the way (s)he wants. It's not really balanced. The combat encounters are quite and drawn out with one exception. As written, the Timerbermancer himself has access to three blight spells which do 64 damage to each PC (save with disadvantage for half). I'm not sure if this is intended or not. The writing is generally good, but it could be integrated into the module to better effect. There are some errors and inconsistencies in the text.
