Slik U8000 Tripod

I purchased this as a replacement for the Tripod which broke but had come with the En Plein Air Pro Professional Easel. The lock in one of the kegs just stopped functioning. It was $15 more than the price for the same tripod on Amazon and I had to pay shipping costs which would not have been so much if purchased via Amazon as I’m a Prime member. I bought the tripod from the vendor who had sold me the original easel almost 3 years ago because I wanted to be sure it would properly fit the other easel components. This vendor indicated only a 180 day warranty on tripods but the replacement indicated 3 yr warranty from the manufacturer. Had I known that was the case I would have pursued the replacement under warranty for the broken tripod. Disappointed!
