Turning black a little bit after a few days

This is my second time purchasing straps from Delugs. The strap I bought last time was a Navy Nubuck Slim Strap and it was fantastic. This time, Orange Saffiano Stitchless Strap is showing sign of wearing out just after a few days on the edge of the longer strap. In fact, it's turning black a little bit. Not sure what happened :(
