Excellent!
This is really a well-made tea with excellent texture and depth of flavor on the tongue. It truly sets the standard of what good gyokuro should be. The fragrance that comes off the tea is so umami and with a tinge of fruitiness, almost like raspberries. As a seasoned tea drinker and collector, this is something I will purchase regularly from now on.
Oh, it also gives the drinker a very good caffeine boost that keeps you alert but calm. Unlike the jittery feelings you get from drinking too much coffee. So, I really recommend this as a morning tea and not something for the evenings, especially if you're caffeine sensitive. Otherwise, you'll feel both calm but wide awake all through the night.
