Saw this years ago and when I went to purchase … it was out of stock. Signed up for the restock notice and waited. Purchased 2 when they became available - one for me and one for the kid in the Fashion Design industry. They don’t make them like this anymore.

Pretty much indestructable

I have large hands and when something around the house needs sewing, stitching and/or repair, I'm the one everyone turns to. This is the only thimble I've found that fits over my fingertips. Pushing needles though layers of denim and leather was a nightmare with the tiny thimbles I found at craft stores, which would often slip (being too small) and cause injury. This thimble stays put and allows me to comfortably and precisely guide the needle where it needs to go. Also, the titanium is nice and thick (unlike the store junk ones which are a thin aluminum-like metal) so no worries about puncturing the thimble with the eye of a needle. I've found it handy for folding down staples on paperwork as well. I missed out on an earlier batch so I snatched this up as soon as they were back in stock.
