Ultra Pima

I ordered 2 hanks of 128 Superwash dusty pink bulky #5. The yarn is beautiful. Not sure yet which project that I will use it for. My current project- a laptop throw, I am using a lighter worsted weight #4. Would like to someday see the varigated dyed yarn patterns in the lighter worsted weight #4. I love this cotton yarn. It doesn’t split, it’s soft and has a nice light sheen to it. Natural fibers are my fiber of choice, and this Pima Cotton does not disappoint. I am looking forward to it washing and wearing into an even softer baby blanket than it is now, hoping for generations of use. I used a Moss stitch, alternating colors every 2 rows. The border is a Camel stitch.

I love working with this yarn. I am using it to make a blanket for my great niece for her 1st birthday. I have made three other blankets with this yarn.
