Pleasantly surprised

I was skeptical about using a base layer, since my main experience of them was scratchy polypropylene bushwalking undershirts from decades ago. Where to begin – the MB base layer is form-fitting but doesn’t squeeze or bind (size L, 75kg, 180cm). I’m very sensitive to itchy clothes, and this is soft and comfortable. Worn under a non-Bergamo bib with itchy straps, the straps are no longer a problem. The base layer wicks well under a range of conditions. It dries quickly enough that it’s ready for re-use an hour or two after being washed, depending on conditions.
