Does not fit my KLX

Couldn’t get this to go on at all had to return it. Right on the packaging it says Honda grom, I thought maybe I was sent the wrong one but the part numbers matched the one that said KLX I just couldn’t get it to fit my post is much bigger then the hole on that shifter which sucks had to pay 10 bucks to ship it back..
