Delano Pickups Are Consistent!

Dare I say that EVERY TIME I upgrade the pickups on any of my basses with Delano pickups, I am NEVER disappointed! This is the 3rd (or 4th?) time I’ve went with Delanos - this time, I went with the SBC5 HE/S 5 String Dual Coil Bass Pickups (soap bars). Without getting too far ‘into the weeds’, I love it! I can quickly get more than several useable and inspiring tones applicable over several genres of music that I play. Last detail, these pickups are paired with a Mike Pope Flexcore 4-band preamp. As always, it has been a pleasure going through Fat Bass Tone with my upgrade orders over the past few years. I love the site, the ease of searching and ordering, and the quickness of their delivery. I had some very specific needs as bass mod had non std narrow string spacing on a5 string. Worked through what I wanted tonally and shape wise and was recommended these wonderful Delano pickups by Max at Fat Bass Tone. Couldn’t be more stoked. First the build quality was amazing! German engineering excellence. I wanted to run these as std J bass passive wiring and blown away by the huge range of tone in each pickup just by dialing up or down the treble, yet not brittle or muddy at both ends of the scale.
