Burr weak

Inn r burr broke with some of its first use, it shattered in fact. Not sure why, it was a high-end bean, but encountered something hard, and, bang, it was shattered. Seems burrs should be a bit stronger! Have another grinder I've used for years, and not near as expensive. Also, greatly disappointed that I can't get parts in the U.S.-- ended up having to buy a whole new grinder for the owner of the first one that broke. That doesn't seem right either. If Hario wants to sell in the States they need to make parts available in the States.
