Purple Mangosteen Fruit Box

We know that its hard to tell because of the way mangosteens are, what they’re going to be like inside. But from the 5lbs we received, half were inedible which is a pretty high perventage; especially since we ate the lot within two days. I would attach photos here if the site had the capability. It bears mentioning though, that the ones that were edible, were delicious.

I paid $120 for a box of Mangosteens. The first box arrived with rock hard, underripe fruit. I tried cutting into them and they were so hard I almost cut my finger because the knife would not cut through them. You basically needed a hatchet. So I reached out to customer service, and they sent me another box because they had a ripeness guarantee. I received a second box, but this was still very hard fruit but had the coloring of overripe fruit. I basically wasted $120. If your entire business centers around you shipping fruit and you've shipped me two boxes of unrripe fruit...You're in the wrong business. It's not like you're paying $39, you're paying over $100 per box

Arrived in perfect condition, fruit quality exceeded all expectations : )
