Waist true to size for me. Length a little below knee for my shorter legs. Fabric soft and mid-weight. Grey color, as noted in other reviews, carries green/brown tones. The pockets and zippers are substantial and worth the price tag. The only thing I would change, primarily as an aesthetic upgrade, would be to have normal open front pockets with single interior zippered pockets. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

I purchased a pair of shorts and pants for our trip to Paris. I never wore the pants but literally wore the shorts for 3 days. They were comfortable and looked good all 3 days. You never know if they prevented a pick pocket - but I felt good knowing I was wearing them. They do take some getting used to when you want things in/out of the pockets. I guess that is a good thing! I want to rave on the customer service I received prior to getting them. I ordered these with 10 days prior to leaving on our trip. I got notified that the color I selected was back ordered and not be available until too late. I was able to call and get the color switched and I think they arrived within 2 days after that conversation. Thanks!
