14+ Chevy Silverado HD 2500 D2S G5 Projector Retrofit Brackets

Clarification for fit

2019 Silverado 2509HD. I was not given instructions but have seen videos and pictures of other installs. The projectors I got had a fan on the back (not bottom as other version) which hit the dust caps preventing reinstallation. The brackets had spacers ( taller on top) and when used as they were shipped I was unable to lower the lights to a suitable level. I tried combinations to get aim, then the issue of the dust cover was sorted out. I eventually ran no spacer, but just the laser cut flat bracket. This made the projector sit in the best location, it wasn’t too far back in the housing which looked better from the outside of the light as the spacing with the trim ring looked right, it also allowed the dust covers to clear. Long story short. With this gen of projectors and these adapters, don’t use the spacers that came bolted on. Once they were in, the projection and brightness were great, and a huge improvement over stock projectors with any bulb.
